INTEGRATED URBAN WATER MASTER PLAN EA AND STORMWATER - PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Civica is currently working on the Integrated Urban Water Master Plan EA which includes an update to the City-wide water, wastewater and stormwater master plans completed in 2014.  Civica is the lead consultant on this project with six sub consultants engaged for various project expertise. This project requires consultation and maintaining communication with partners, the public and other stakeholders, including announcements of the project commencement, updates of major milestones, public information centres, and providing a response to all enquiries about the project. This will be critical in the development process required for policy and data inputs. The scope of this project also includes the development of a LID Standards and Design Manual, Functional Servicing Strategy Reports, and Dual Drainage Modelling for stormwater systems for select Secondary Plan Areas, Major Transit Station Areas and Regional Intensification Corridors.  The focus of the Master Plan is to provide infrastructure solutions for development that are sustainable and financially responsible.  The master plan documents are expected to be completed by the end of 2021. Completion of the plan includes building extensive sanitary and stormwater models.
