Why are municipal class EA studies important?

The Ministry of the Environment and the Municipal Engineers Association, in accordance with the EA Act (2000), requires that municipalities perform a Class EA study before certain projects can begin. Do I need to perform Sewer Inspections?

Unidentified sewer problems can cause serious issues such as pipe collapse, pipe blockages, high inflow & infiltration, sewage back-ups, spills, and overflows as well as overall reduced capacity.
