Why do I need to perform Inflow & Infiltration studies?

Why are municipal class EA studies important?
The Ministry of the Environment and the Municipal Engineers Association, in accordance with the EA Act (2000), requires that municipalities perform a Class EA study before certain projects can begin. How do I know if I need an Asset Management Plan?
All municipalities in Ontario require an asset management plan as per O. Reg. 588/17. The key to managing municipal infrastructure is sound asset management planning. It is a long-term process that enables municipalities to make informed investment decisions for their infrastructure assets. What is Flow and Rainfall monitoring?
Flow & Rainfall Monitoring is one of the most effective methods for assessing storm and sanitary sewer capacity and is the starting point for many inflow and infiltration (I&I) studies. Do I need to perform Sewer Inspections?
Unidentified sewer problems can cause serious issues such as pipe collapse, pipe blockages, high inflow & infiltration, sewage back-ups, spills, and overflows as well as overall reduced capacity. How much do your services cost?
Although this is a wonderful question, the right response will depend on the nature of your project. Every new project is different, so without details, we cannot estimate the cost for you. However, we constantly see dozens of ways customers pay too much, and in that alone, we can help save you money.
How does it work?
- If the project is clearly specified from start to finish, we can operate with a firm, fixed price. We will agree on the services and the cost before getting to work.
- We can work with Time and Resources if the project path is not well defined or if the ultimate goals are not definitive.
